(QMUL), Accredited Mediator of the Greek Ministry of Justice and the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR), London, UK and Mediators’ Trainer, will be speaking at the 35th UIA World Forum of Mediation Centres, organised by the Union Internationale de Avocats (UIA), taking place in Athens, Greece.

Dimitris will join the panel titled “Landscape of Mediation in Greece”, addressing the evolution of Mediation in Greece from its formal introduction in 2010 (implementing the EU Directive 52/2008), through legislative challenges and reforms, and up to its current framework, including an overview of the Mediation’s growing role and its expansion into family and land cases, among other types of disputes.

Dimitris will especially stress out the increasingly important role of Mediation as ESG practice in the era of EU deregulation.
