Minimum salary law amendment: Introduced for discussion and voting at the Parliament

On 29-1-2024, the law amendment regarding the determination of the minimum salary as for the year 2024 was submitted to the Parliament in the bill of the Ministry of Education, Religions and Sports titled “Emergency measures to ban the sale of tickets and the presence of spectators at football matches for imperative reasons of protection of the public order and security” (A’ 203) – Taking measures to prevent and deal with violence in the context of sports meetings and other regulations of the Ministry of Education, Religion and Sports”.

By decision 113169/2023 of the Greek Minister of Labour and Social Security, published in the Official Journal (A/7421/28-12-2023), there are, amongst others, regulations on the reporting of changes in working hours, the organization of working time and overtime, the inclusion in the categories of managerial employees, the Basic Terms of Employment and “Individual Employment Contract”, the digital submission of notices/declarations to the ERGANI II Information System etc.

Ministerial Decision on the mandatory application of the Digital Card in industry and retail trade as of 1-1-2024.

Decision No. 113169/2023 of the Minister of Labour and Social Security, which was published in the Government Gazette (A/7421/28-12-2023), specifies the sectors and Business Activity Codes [KAD] of the companies that are obliged to implement the digital work card system as of 1 -1-2024.
