Overview

We advise clients on Greek-law matters involving defence, national security, sensitive public-sector projects and strategic assets. Our work combines public procurement, public law, regulatory compliance, corporate transactions, disputes, sanctions, anti-bribery risk and government-facing legal strategy.

The firm has acted on major defence and national-security mandates in Greece, including advising the Ministry of Defence on the procurement of 170 LEO2HEL military tanks from Krauss-Maffei Wegmann and advising the Ministry of National Defence on the Olympic Games C4I security project. We have also advised on defence-related privatisation matters, including the privatisation of the Hellenic Vehicle Industry, ELVO.

We support international contractors, suppliers, investors and public-sector clients on the legal and regulatory framework through which defence-related activity is structured, procured and implemented in Greece. Our work covers tender processes, supply and implementation contracts, industrial participation and offset-related arrangements, regulatory compliance, authority engagement and disputes arising from sensitive public-sector projects.

We also advise on investment and transaction planning in sectors subject to national security scrutiny, including Greece’s foreign direct investment screening regime under Law 5202/2025. Where defence intersects with cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, dual-use technologies or critical infrastructure, we coordinate with our regulatory, data, IP, corporate and white-collar teams to address the relevant legal, compliance and enforcement risks.
