Yanos Gramatidis Participates as a Speaker at the Real Investment Summit.

Yanos Gramatidis, Partner at Bahas, Gramatidis & Partners Law Firm and Honorary President of the American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce, will participate as a speaker at the real INVESTMENT SUMMIT, addressing the topic: “The Growth of the Greek Economy Amid Global Challenges.”

He will take part in the conference’s third session, entitled: “Reforms and Investment Attraction Tools: How Greece Can Become a More Attractive Investment Destination. Structural Challenges and New Initiatives – The Perspective of the Foreign Investor.”

The conference will take place on Tuesday, 5 March 2024, at the Grand Hyatt Athens.

About the Conference

The conference aims to focus on the significant investment opportunities emerging for Greece in the context of international crises and climate change, while positioning the country to play a leading role in the region.

Distinguished speakers will discuss Greece’s strategic advantages over competing markets, the prospects for attracting substantial foreign investment capital, the contribution of major infrastructure projects to the domestic economy, and the importance of energy infrastructure in strengthening the country’s energy adequacy and security.

The conference will also address the need for the digital transformation of both the public and private sectors, as well as the priorities arising from climate change and the transition to a greener economy through innovative investment initiatives in circular economy activities and sustainable development.

Particular emphasis will be placed on new production models driven by robotics and Artificial Intelligence, as well as on the investments supporting these technological developments.

Further discussion will focus on the role of the Recovery and Resilience Facility (RRF), NSRF funding programmes, and Greece’s Development Laws in implementing investment projects capable of transforming Greece into a leading economic force in the region.

Special attention will also be given to the new criteria adopted by the financial sector for financing investments.

The conference agenda additionally includes sessions on emerging trends and investment projects in tourism, shipping, logistics, renewable energy sources, waste management, the primary sector, and domestic industry.

The event brings together senior government officials from the Ministries of National Economy and Finance, Labour and Social Security, Infrastructure and Transport, Development, Digital Governance, Environment and Energy, among others.

Senior executives from leading banks and major corporations will also share their perspectives, contributing to the strengthening of cooperation between public institutions and the private sector in support of major investments in Greece.
