For more than three decades, we have advised international aircraft lessors, airlines, financial institutions, investors and aviation-related businesses on Greek-law matters connected with aircraft finance, leasing, operations and market entry. Our clients in the sector have included leading international aircraft lessors such as AerCap, SMBC Aviation Capital, Avolon and Carlyle Aviation, as well as major airlines including United Airlines.

We are regularly instructed on the Greek-law aspects of cross-border aviation finance and operating structures, including aircraft leasing, acquisitions, registrations, security arrangements, sale and leaseback transactions, receivables structures and local law issues arising from lease arrangements with Greek carriers. Our role is often to provide focused Greek counsel within wider international transactions, ensuring that local registration, security, regulatory and enforceability issues are properly addressed.
