Overview

We advise developers, investors, sponsors, public bodies, operators and financial institutions on construction, development and infrastructure matters in Greece. Our work sits at the point where real estate, public law, procurement, finance, regulation, environmental approvals, construction contracts and disputes meet, particularly on projects involving complex assets, public approvals or long delivery timelines.

For more than three decades, we have supported clients on major development and infrastructure activity in Greece, including energy facilities, natural gas infrastructure, water and wastewater projects, mining and industrial assets, tourism and hospitality developments, Olympic-era venues and security infrastructure, public real estate, privatisations, concessions and commercial property projects. Our clients in the sector have included Hyatt, Marriott, Banyan Tree, Eldorado Gold, Teodomi and EYDAP, and we have advised on landmark infrastructure projects such as the Revithoussa natural gas pipeline and terminal facilities.

We advise on acquisition and development structuring, licensing and permitting, public procurement, concession arrangements, construction and operational contracts, financing and security, regulatory compliance and risk allocation. Where projects become contentious, we support clients on litigation, arbitration and settlement strategy involving development, infrastructure, commercial property and project-related claims.

Our role is to help clients move complex Greek projects from planning to execution, coordinating the legal workstreams that affect timetable, bankability, regulatory risk and delivery.
