Overview

Projects work is where the firm moves as one. Infrastructure and development transactions draw on corporate, finance, real estate, public law, procurement, competition, employment, tax and disputes at once, and the quality of the advice depends on how coherently those strands are held together. Drawing on over three decades of infrastructure experience, we run projects as a coordinated effort under a single lead partner, with the commercial and legal picture managed in one place.

Our experience covers energy, with particular emphasis on conventional and renewable power generation, electricity and gas transmission and distribution, storage and grid connection; transport and logistics, including ports, airports, roads and rail; water, wastewater and desalination projects; digital infrastructure; hospitality, tourism and mixed-use developments; and public-procurement-led infrastructure programmes. We support private-sector clients, government bodies and public institutions from early-stage structuring and bidding through land assembly, permitting, construction, financing and operation, and into refinancing, disposals and secondary-market transactions.

Greek infrastructure sits at the intersection of national regulation, EU procurement and State aid rules, public funding frameworks, environmental and permitting requirements, land and real estate constraints, and the contractual architecture familiar from international project finance. We are comfortable moving between these layers and coordinating with Greek and foreign counsel where a project has a cross-border dimension.

Our role is to keep complex projects executable: identifying the legal issues that affect timetable, bankability and risk allocation, aligning the relevant workstreams, and helping clients move from concept to delivery without losing sight of the commercial objective.
